The Scientific Case for Traditional Chinese Medicine

When it comes to validating the claims of Chinese Medicine, there are generally two schools of thought. One school states that the time-honored tradition of Chinese Medicine is itself a testament to its efficacy, thereby nullifying the need for scientific backing. The other school of thought states that scientific evidence is necessary for Chinese Medicine to be accepted into the mainstream. Thanks to advances in technology and the design of clinical trials, research is not only increasingly showing that acupuncture and herbal medicine work, but also giving insight as to how.
