The invitation explains that the postpartum period has generally been underestimated and undervalued, but that Asian medicine providers are in a unique position to inform and cultivate new ways to deliver postpartum care. The learning objectives include providing an overview of postpartum care around the world, describing the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual effects of the postpartum period, and learning about the importance of the Golden Hour.
