This talk will provide an understanding of the key concepts surrounding ovulatory dysfunction, including conditions such as hypothalamic amenorrhea (including stress), PCOS, adrenal androgen excesses (Non-classical CAH), LUFS, hyperprolactinemia and thyroid dysfunction. A thorough understanding of the hypothalamic pituitary ovary axis will be provided including new concepts in neuro-endocrinology. Clinical nutrition and functional medicine treatments of these common disorders will also be discussed, and clinical pearls are provided to assist clinicians in the regulation of the ovarian cycle.
