Classical Chinese medicine has attributed the various aspects of memory to the different sections of the psyche.
In this community lecture, we will examine the construct of the mind from the Chinese perspective and how this relates to our Western neuro-psychological concepts.
Memory problems and attention deficit issues are increasing in our modern societies; some acupuncture strategies will be discussed concerning reduced memory and amnesia.
In addition, “Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity” (ADHD), will be examined not only in relation to TCM patterns but also in the context of personality disorders and Temperaments.
