In this Community Lecture, Randy Santiago will be discussing the mechanism of low-level laser therapy and why it has become a popular treatment for various conditions. He will explain how this type of therapy works to produce positive clinical results in fertility and pain. Low-level laser therapy is used to stimulate cellular activity which can reduce inflammation, promote healing, and even encourage new cell growth. By understanding the mechanism behind this technology we can better understand why it produces such beneficial results in many different areas of health care.
