The Blood is one of the main keys to a healthy reproductive system. It is more than just a good endometrial lining, it brings nutrition and vitality to all organs. But should we treat the blood through the qi, the essence, the Liver, the Heart, the Kidney, the Lung, or Spleen? Analyzing the details of the quality and movement of Blood as it expresses during menses and after, can help you help your patients create a healthier and more vital substrate upon which to grow follicles and implant an embryo. When should you move the blood by dispersing, or can you support the qi or yang to circulate it? How does one move the qi without causing deficiency? How do you “vitalize” the blood while building it?
